an experienced team of professionals with experience in both
commercial and residential sectors.
The team has access to a specialised supply chain of experienced private sector building services consultants to supplement the core services as and when required on a project specific basis. Integration of IT
Integration of IT infrastructure and hardware requirements at the early stages of design are crucial for cost effective cable routing, well designed containment and the avoidance of unsightly retro-installation.
The 3BM IT Technical Team work closely with the client and the Project Design Team to establish the client’s IT brief and “design-in” IT requirements.
During construction, we will work closely with the design team and contractor to manage high quality installation and configuration of patches and switches.

Benefits of BIM
Whilst we appreciate that some projects benefit from presenting the scheme in all forms of media, 3BM are keen to improve in all aspects of delivery, and pride our selves in keeping up to date with developing industry Standards.
Building Information Modeling (BIM) is fast becoming an industry norm and one which 3BM are embracing to enhance our client communication and design team coordination.
BIM is a digital representation of the physical characteristics of building design, creating a digital 3D model of the building. 3BM believe this is an important communication tool between all physical infrastructure packages that make up a building such as, Structure and Mechanical and Electrical packages. BIM then provides us an efficient function for the coordination of all design information during the development and construction of a project.
This process also identifies the functionality of key elements of the project at an early stage in the design process. BIM also covers spatial relationships, light analysis, geographic information, and quantities all built into the model during the design process.
Whilst the efficiency of coordination of BIM is recognised, BIM offers the ability to communicate quickly and effectively to the client.
3BM use BIM as an important function within the stakeholder engagement process allowing the production of the following information to communicate the design clearly to the client.
